Let guests order in their own words. Keep your staff in control.
WaiterPilot is an AI waiter for restaurants. Guests scan the QR code on their table, ask about your menu and order by chat in their own language. The order lands on your staff board, and your team takes it from there.
Every order follows the same five steps, and a person on your team confirms the first order at each table.
1
Scan
The guest scans the QR code on the table. Your menu opens in the phone's browser. No app, no sign-up.
2
Ask and choose
They ask questions in their own words and get answers from your menu. WaiterPilot asks about the choices a dish needs, like the side or how it's cooked.
3
Confirm
The guest checks the order card and taps Confirm. Nothing reaches your team before that.
4
Staff confirm
The ticket appears on your board as Awaiting staff. Your team confirms it and it moves to In kitchen. Later orders from that table can go straight to the kitchen.
5
Served
Staff mark the dish Served when it reaches the table. The guest sees each step on their phone.
Ask what's spicy, vegetarian or served with a dish, and get an answer from your menu
Order in their own words, in their own language
Call a waiter or ask for the check without waving
See the bill grow through the evening, with tax and any service charge or gratuity you set, and split it evenly or by phone
On your team's screens
A main board with every ticket by status
A kitchen screen with quantities, dishes, options and notes, without prices
A floor screen for waiter calls and check requests
Mark a dish sold out from your phone and WaiterPilot stops offering it right away
As the owner, see busy hours, top dishes and what guests asked for that isn't on your menu
One question, in the guest's language
Guests write in their own language and WaiterPilot answers in it. Your team still sees each dish by its menu name.
We have tested the chat in English, Arabic (several dialects) and Spanish, and it answers most other languages too. Arabic replies can use your own dialect, such as Jordanian, Egyptian or Gulf. The buttons on the guest screen are in English or Arabic, and notes such as "no onions" go on the ticket as the request was taken, not translated.
Software that takes table orders by chat. Guests ask about the menu and order on their own phone; your staff still make and serve the food.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. They scan the QR code on the table and the menu opens in their phone's browser. There is no account and no sign-up.
How much does it cost?
Setup is free and the first 30 days are free. After that it is $200 per location per month, with no contract and 0% commission on your orders. No tax is added.
Does it work with my POS?
It works alongside it, not inside it. WaiterPilot has no POS or printer connection, so your team enters the sale in your till as they do today.
Which languages can guests use?
Guests chat in their own language. We have tested English, Arabic (several dialects) and Spanish, and it answers most other languages too. The guest screen's buttons are in English or Arabic, and dish names show as written on your menu.
How long does setup take?
Most restaurants are live within two weeks of the first call. Send us your menu as a PDF or photos; we load it, you check it before going live, and we print your QR cards and train your staff. There is no hardware to buy.
Pick by the job: POS order-and-pay if guests pay by phone, a QR menu to read, tablets for a device per table, an AI waiter to order by chat in their language.
Yes. Orders go to a staff board and kitchen screen, and staff ring the sale into their own till. What that costs you, who it suits and who should skip it.
Barely. The best peer-reviewed study found about 1% more per check and 10% shorter meals. The 20-30% claims trace to a hypothetical and vendor marketing.
